Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOL2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 9 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FoxM1, mTOR_pS2448, and Myosin-IIa_pS1943. Each is linked with APOL2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOL2-to-partner and partner-to-APOL2 results are reported.
