Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APOF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APOF data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher APOF Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APOF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where APOF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
