Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APOC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APOC1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher APOC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APOC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where APOC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
