APOBEC3C

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOBEC3C mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 141 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOBEC3C-associated genes across cancer lineages are NUTF2P8, RN7SKP169, and RNMTL1P2. Each is linked with APOBEC3C in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOBEC3C-to-partner and partner-to-APOBEC3C results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, NUTF2P8 grouped by APOBEC3C-low versus APOBEC3C-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (APOBEC3C→partner) and Y-score (partner→APOBEC3C) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
