Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APMAP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APMAP data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher APMAP mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APMAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where APMAP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
