Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APLF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APLF data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher APLF Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APLF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where APLF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
