Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APIP data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher APIP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where APIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
