Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP4S1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP4S1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AP4S1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP4S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, KIRP, and OV are the cancer types where AP4S1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
