Across TCGA patient cohorts, AOC1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,653 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AOC1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CD109, CTHRC1, and TMEM176A. Each is linked with AOC1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AOC1-to-partner and partner-to-AOC1 results are reported.
