Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANXA2R RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ANXA2R data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ANXA2R RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANXA2R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and CESC show a favorable association.

SKCM, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where ANXA2R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
