Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD28 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD28 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher ANKRD28 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where ANKRD28 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
