Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMY1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AMY1A data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher AMY1A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AMY1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where AMY1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
