Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMHR2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of AMHR2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where AMHR2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types AMHR2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LIHC and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LIHC, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where AMHR2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
