Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMELY mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AMELY data layer compared with 7 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher AMELY mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AMELY expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
CCRCC, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where AMELY mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
