Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALOX12P2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALOX12P2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ALOX12P2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALOX12P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where ALOX12P2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
