Across TCGA cell cohorts, ALK RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,438 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALK-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are RNA export from nucleus, Regulation of proteasomal protein catabolic process, and Regulation of mRNA splicing, via spliceosome. Each is linked with ALK in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALK-to-partner and partner-to-ALK results are reported.
