Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALG1L11P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ALG1L11P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where ALG1L11P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ALG1L11P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and READ show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BRCA, PAAD, and READ are the cancer types where ALG1L11P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
