ALDH8A1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALDH8A1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,165 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALDH8A1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-855P, RNU6-1020P, and ZC4H2. Each is linked with ALDH8A1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALDH8A1-to-partner and partner-to-ALDH8A1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNU6-855P grouped by ALDH8A1-low versus ALDH8A1-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALDH8A1→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALDH8A1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
