Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKT1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AKT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where AKT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
