Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKT1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 38 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK2, PR, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with AKT1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKT1-to-partner and partner-to-AKT1 results are reported.
