Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR7L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKR7L data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AKR7L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR7L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BLCA, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where AKR7L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
