Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR7A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKR7A2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher AKR7A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR7A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LAML and UCEC are the cancer types where AKR7A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
