Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR1C5P RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AKR1C5P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher AKR1C5P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR1C5P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and MESO show a favorable association.
STAD, UVM, and KICH are the cancer types where AKR1C5P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
