Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR1B10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKR1B10 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AKR1B10 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR1B10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, SARC, and SKCM are the cancer types where AKR1B10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
