Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKR1B10 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,837 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible AKR1B10-associated genes across cancer lineages are AKR1B10P1, AKR1B15, and NMRAL2P. Each is linked with AKR1B10 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKR1B10-to-partner and partner-to-AKR1B10 results are reported.
