Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKAP8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 13,644 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKAP8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are BRD4, SUGP1, and WIZ. Each is linked with AKAP8 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKAP8-to-partner and partner-to-AKAP8 results are reported.
