Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKAP3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 8,410 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKAP3-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SMCHD1, ZNF609_S1313, and AGFG2. Each is linked with AKAP3 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKAP3-to-partner and partner-to-AKAP3 results are reported.
