Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKAP3 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 40 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKAP3-associated genes across cancer lineages are S6_pS235_S236, p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, and PDK1_pS241. Each is linked with AKAP3 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKAP3-to-partner and partner-to-AKAP3 results are reported.
