Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKAP17BP RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AKAP17BP data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AKAP17BP RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKAP17BP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and CHOL show a favorable association.
LUSC, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where AKAP17BP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
