Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKAP14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKAP14 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AKAP14 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKAP14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where AKAP14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
