Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKAP14 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,192 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKAP14-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMOD2, LRRC46, and FHAD1. Each is linked with AKAP14 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKAP14-to-partner and partner-to-AKAP14 results are reported.
