Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AIMP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AIMP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher AIMP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AIMP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where AIMP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
