Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADK RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ADK data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ADK RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and LIHC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UVM, and LUSC are the cancer types where ADK RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
