Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADAMTS8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ADAMTS8 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher ADAMTS8 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADAMTS8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
READ, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ADAMTS8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
