Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACY3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ACY3 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher ACY3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACY3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRP, SKCM, and KIRC are the cancer types where ACY3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
