Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACY3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACY3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ACY3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACY3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ACY3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
