Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACTG1P9 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ACTG1P9’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where ACTG1P9 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ACTG1P9 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where ACTG1P9 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
