Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACSBG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACSBG2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ACSBG2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACSBG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ACSBG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
