Across TCGA patient cohorts, ACAT1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ACAT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are INPP4B, EGFR_pY1068, and ACC_pS79. Each is linked with ACAT1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ACAT1-to-partner and partner-to-ACAT1 results are reported.
