Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACAD9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACAD9 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ACAD9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACAD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUSC show a favorable association.
CESC, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ACAD9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
