Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACACB RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ACACB data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ACACB RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACACB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UVM, UCEC, and SCLC are the cancer types where ACACB RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
