Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABI1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ABI1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ABI1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ABI1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
