Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ABHD8 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ABHD8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC are the cancer types where ABHD8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
