Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABCG8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ABCG8 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher ABCG8 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABCG8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and BLCA show a favorable association.

CHOL, MESO, and BLCA are the cancer types where ABCG8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
