Across TCGA patient cohorts, AARD mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 83 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AARD-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU1-49P, SMSP1, and BCAR1P2. Each is linked with AARD in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AARD-to-partner and partner-to-AARD results are reported.
