Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, A4GNT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated A4GNT data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher A4GNT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated A4GNT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where A4GNT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
