5-Fluorouracil

response biomarkers — cross-omics
Antimetabolite (DNA & RNA)Drug responseDRUG → MUTATIONCell line5-FU

Across CCLE and GDSC cell-line panels, response to 5-Fluorouracil is significantly associated with the mutation status of multiple genes, with LUNG_SCLC cell lines showing a particularly strong set of associations.

The most reproducible 5-Fluorouracil response-associated genes across cancer lineages are DNAH2, TP53, and MUC5B, each associated with drug response in up to 3 lineages. Since the analysis identifies associations rather than directional relationships, both response-to-biomarker and biomarker-to-response views are provided.

Each biomarker is linked to its corresponding Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest observed association, 5-Fluorouracil response grouped by DNAH2 status in LUNG_SCLC.

Mutation status biomarkers of 5-Fluorouracil response

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (response→biomarker) and Y-score (biomarker→response) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. The reported p-values are derived from the association test.
