Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZYG11B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZYG11B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZYG11B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZYG11B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and OV are the cancer types where ZYG11B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
