Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZSCAN32 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZSCAN32 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ZSCAN32 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZSCAN32 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where ZSCAN32 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
