Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZSCAN30 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZSCAN30 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZSCAN30 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZSCAN30 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZSCAN30 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
